Are your services free? In most instances yes, as we are paid a finder’s fee by the supplier.
How long does it take to switch suppliers? Switching suppliers can take between 5 to 6 weeks. If your current supplier objects to your transfer, or the new supplier does not have all the information they require this will delay the changeover.
Do I need to terminate my existing contract? For business use - yes. Depending on your supplier notice can be anything up to 120 days prior to the renewal date. In all instances notice is required in writing. Check your terms and condition to establish what applies to you or call us for assistance.
If I change supplier will any of my supply equipment need to be changed? No. Your gas and electricity will still be supplied to you through your existing equipment. However if you elect to take a Smart Meter supply option the supplier will need to change your meter.
How long are the prices online valid for? Prices can change at any time. We would therefore recommend you order as soon as possible even though your start date can be up to 90 days in the future.
Is the MPAN the same as the S number? Yes, MPAN stands for Meter Point Administration Number.
What is a MPRN? This stands for Meter Point Reference Number. It is often abbreviated to MPR and is typically 7 to 10 digits long. You will find it on your gas bill.
How far in advance can I apply for a new contract? Most of our suppliers will only accept an application up to 90 days before your renewal date whereas others will quote upto 130 days in advance. You can still send your current supplier a notice letter now and this will free you up to switch if you wish or stay with them nearer the time.
What do the stars on the results page mean? It shows how that supplier is rated by customers. Click on the stars with your mouse for an explanation. . What happens if I leave the premises? You will need to notify your supplier in accordance with the terms and conditions of your contract. There should however be no financial penalty.
